I've been contemplating between undertaking a university business degree or a fashion management diploma/degree ever since my mum said to me, "Why not choose something related to fashion? Since you're so interested.." So today I checked out a local arts school and when I found out about the school fees, my heart sank. Because I have already used up my government tuition grant for my polytechnic education, this meant that I had to pay the full fee amount which is around 17.5k per year.

Quote unquote AJ, "I sometimes wish i went crazy and did fashion instead".

If you have some cash left to spare, you might want to check out the Magnolia Family Vintage ebay store. There's not much variety but I've already picked out 4 items I would love to buy (if I have the money. I am totally living on my savings now, the consequence of being jobless and with no allowance). The only downside is that apparently shipping is more expensive than the clothes itself if you ship outside US/Canada.

The houndstooth vest was my mum's from about 20 years ago. She had tons of vests, and obviously I had the "obligations" to inherit those from her. Hahaha. And I like the Adidas t-shirt that the boyfriend wore today. Very unique design. On a closer look you can see a somewhat watermark-like "Adidas" splashed diagonally across the t-shirt.

I can't help but ogle at this photo, I don't know why. Both are equally gorgeous but I love the relaxed and simple yet understating chic-ness of the one in those tailored pants and nude cotton tank. Those glasses are the perfect icing on the cake!

Louis Vuitton never fails to amaze me. Every season it gives a different look, a different feeling, a different kind of Louis Vuitton. The only standstill is its monogram design on the bags. But even that can be altered in such a way that it looks different and new every season. Oh, and look at how Marc made hardcore bondage-like laced-up boots work on the runway!

Here's some pictures the boyfriend took of me in his miniscule room two weeks ago with this Nikon FM film SLR camera. Amateur experience for me (so not cut out to be a model, I know, hahaha), but whatever, thought I could share it with you guys. (: I had fun!

I have a tendency of wearing a particular something way too many times when I first buy it, so forgive me, haha. Check out my new rings on my right hand. Yea, the wings ring is a little loose but heck that, I like it too much to not buy it. (:

Of all, the one that took my breath away is the toga top with bows at the sleeve! Toga + Nude color + bows = classic trends that will never die = durability. What's not to love? :D

So I did a bit of slashing on my denim shorts, cut off a little bit of the seams on the right back pocket and stuck studs on them, immediately after I saw the picture above. I wish my studs were bigger though. And yea, I dropped a stud. Maybe it's because I didn't use fabric glue and also, I wore it out as soon as I finished the diy. Haha, I just can't wait, can I.

Maybe I should cut off the seams right to the end and stick on more studs. What do y'all think? (:

So a month or so ago, I found this website that is dedicated to models. Models' off-duty streetwear.. interviews with models.. short clips about models.. yea you get my drift.



The first thing that caught my eye was this series of short clips titled Spiked Heel that featured my favorite model (coco rocha!). It's pretty silly actually, but if you really want to kill time online, watch it here.

The second clip series that caught my attention is High Heel Boot Camp, featuring model Anastassia Khozissova training new models to walk in stilettos. Watch it here!

I am in love with the coset as seen on the models in Nasty Gal! It's so versatile. Check out the number of ways you can wear them. It's too bad I don't think it's on sale. ):

So today after attending a university openhouse talk with a girlfriend, I headed to Haji Lane with the boyfriend to check out the ohsofickle boutique I heard so much about. Then it started raining heavily, and to think it was so damn sunny yesterday. Grrr, the weather is seriously going berserk.

Black has always been a mainstay in fashion, a classic. But it seems like black is explicitly excessive on the runway this season! Theyskens is a genius in this collection, too bad it's his last season for Nina Ricci, I think.

Went for a swim with the boyfriend this morning. That's the Topshop dress that I bought off Vintage Tea. And the beach hat was absolutely appropriate seeing how the scorching sun was beating down on me. It completely blocked out the sun's rays, very very useful. (:

The entire Fall 09 RTW collection was great but the main highlights were their outerwear! Those jackets/blazers/coats/cardis are amazing! I especially NEED this...





...in both colors please!

And a big thank you to Vintage Tea for the lovely dress and skirt! I received it in just five days and it's from the UK to Singapore. And yet I haven't received a top I bought online locally one and a half weeks ago. No missing mail please! =/
