Yup, very Kate Lanphear judging by the amount of accessories on the model. Haha.
Halloween.

I know Halloween's eons ago but look at the children! Just too cute to ignore. (:
Versatility.

Bought this pair of harem pants off the Zara sales rack at SGD39.90. There's many ways I can experiment with this pants due to the elasticity at the top and bottom. At the waist, at the hip, ending at the ankle, ending at the calf.. a very versatile piece. Yum. :D
Plaids, not dead.

Source: elle.com
Awhile ago, I heard people saying that plaids are so out of the fashion arena. But just by clicking the Street Chic section in elle.com, you get 10 different streetstyles revolving around plaids. So let's all just say, plaids is definitely not going anywhere for now. And even Marc Jacobs say so!

Indecisiveness.
Pucker Up.

I'm not one for lipsticks. I've hated lipsticks since forever. I don't even wear a lot of make-up at all.
But I guess people change, don't they? I'm coveting coral color lipsticks right now, though I'm not so sure whether I would wear them or not. Going to MAC to check them out soon!
Cheap Thrills.

I got this pair of acid wash shorts last Friday for SGD12. I actually have a pair of acid wash jeans but I look totally fat in them. Jeans are jinx to me, they make me look my own size (a.k.a. short and fat). ):
I've been searching for a pair of black platform pumps lately. I'm surprised that I do not own a pair of black heels, the most important basics for high heels domination.

CNY Outfit.

One of my outfits for Chinese New Year. I was contemplating on whether I should post it now or during the day itself but well, I can't resist doing it now. (: The top's a windbreaker actually. Really pretty. Fell in love with it right away and I knew I had to have it. (:

I want these from Nasty Gal Vintage please!
Do a Breakdown.
Black & Gold.

Work's been boring me down. And there's a new permanent staff coming in on Friday. I'm totally suspecting that she's a spy sent from the company to watch out for us interns. No more video watching! ):
Off to eat my cheese fries, have a pleasant evening!
Work Clothes.
What I wore to work yesterday and today.

Sorry for the poor lighting conditions for the first two photographs. I'm currently looking for the perfect space in the house for my outfit photographs.

Chinese New Year Shoes.

For your informtion, Chinese New Year is celebrated on the first day of the year in the chinese lunar calendar. And people usually wear new clothes from head to toe (symbolizing a new beginning in the new year). Hence I'm saving this pair for Chinese New Year.

I psycho-ed my mum into buying this pair of pants the other day and I love it! It can be both casual (like in the picture) and formal at the same time. Loving the pleated details at the sides and the cuffed bottom, which you can't really see but it's there. Heh.

Fashion closer to home.

facehunter & streetpeeper
I love reading fashion blogs from all over the world, especially blogs from the western side of the earth. They fascinate me with the cool and chic layering of clothes, something that I will never be able to do given my country of residence.
That's why sometimes I would look to fashion blogs that showcase countries that are closer to home and ogle at the Singapore-weather-appropriate outfits. And I must say, I'm loving Jakarta's street style, a country that I never expected fashion to exist. I know, I'm shallow that way. Heh. (:
The Boyfriend.

Fedora - Cotton On
Vintage Shirt - Deja Vu Vintage
Pants - Zara
Shoes - Vans
Love what he's wearing today. He's seldom that dressy though. He reckons that a clean tee-shirt and a freshly ironed pair of pants is enough for a guy. Oh well, check out his newly set up photography blog here.

Happy 2009.

New year's eve was spent quietly at home with the loverboy. No parties, no nothing, just quality alone time to welcome 2009 in the arms of the boy I love.
Platform Lovin'.

From Clockwise:
1. Topshop Sharp Lace Up Shoe
2. Alexander McQueen Neon Flash Shoe Boots
3. Sergio Rossi Black Velvet Court Shoes
4. Christian Louboutin Astraqueen Shoe Boots
Platforms are like heaven-sent remedies for a girl who loves her high heels but walks like a clown in them. I don't wear them most of the time, but I am irrevocably in love with high heels, I have no idea why. I don't have a lot, I'm working on it now. :D

To the National Museum sometime back with zee boyfriend.
Christmas Day.

Christmas was spent at home with the people from the good side of my world. Theme was slumber lumber christmas and I got my robe from Cotton On at $15. It's a bath robe though, and I nearly died in my own perspiration.

Yesterday.
I really don't understand all the fuss over purchasing plain bandage skirts from online shops and retail shops like Topshop at such steep prices. I'm wearing a cotton tube top as a bandage skirt. No one noticed, and it's $5.
A bit on the slow side.

I am furiously coveting the Gucci Spring 2009 RTW Collection. I'm loving everything, from the sharp blazers and pants to the safari-themed suits to the flowy breezy dresses. The colors are so vivid and well-coordinated. This collection, without any doubt, stands out from the rest this season. I would definitely wear every single piece.
The narrow pants, which seem to come in all sorts of colors, appear to be in such a perfect cut. Now, if I have legs like that...

What I wore last Saturday, only without the fedora.
Christmas Shopping.
Went Christmas shopping just now. The crowd was crazy, almost suffocated in the midst of squeezing my way through Orchard Road. Bought a pair of yummy heels from Charles & Keith, again. They're getting better, I must say. Although I still hate how the brand logo stands out on the bags. Anyway, it's the wet season, the perfect excuse to pile up on layers of clothes in sunny Singapore. Right now, I'm lusting after the YSL Sweatshirt from the S/S 2008 collection - very simple, yet it exudes a dogged air of chicness.

Pair it with high-waisted denim jeans/black pants or the oh-so-popular lame leggings, and you're good to go.
I'm also loving all the punk rock fashion right now. All the studs, chains, zips, leather and metal.. I'm tempted to stick studs on everything I own.
Gucci Studded Boots on Paris Vogue's Geraldine Saglio

Isn't that pretty?

On my Christmas wishlist. Costs SGD60plus, still contemplating on whether I should get it.
Ps: Can't wait for Christmas Party on Wednesday. Theme's Slumber Lumber Christmas. :D
