How was your weekend? (: I spent mine with the ultimate shopping spree of the year. Christmas shopping with a girlfriend, whom I haven't met in ages, on Saturday in town. Bought a pair of Aldo boots (because my old pair is practically dead) at an awesome price of SGD39.30. Thanks to a 30% storewide discount + a $100 voucher gifted from my best friends!
Sunday saw my mum and I crossing into Malaysian border for some good ol' end-of-the-year shopping sale. Best buy of the trip was the sleepwear, hahaha. Shall update with pictures soon!

Met up with a girlfriend for brunch on Monday and she pointed out that I've put on weight boohoo. My love for fast food is not helping either. Been exercising every day now... swimming, jogging, climbing stairs (yes it's kind of a sport, even the army has that as part of their training). Encouraging pats on shoulders. Here's to a healthier, happier body and mind!
mr. punch
Mr. Punch for brunch with a girlfriend last week. Awesome decor, so-so food. Christmas in ten more days!
Someday, somewhere, somehow, me and you.
Spent my off day last Thursday decluttering my bedroom and I came across this little black book that Andy gave me on our 1st Valentine’s together, 4 years ago. He documented the process of how we got together and drew them into this book. Here’s a few. Super cute. <3
You see, we were picked to sit together during A.Math class five years ago.
Exact same phones we used to text each other with then!
We caught “The Island” on the day we got together at Marina Square, hung around a bit and he popped the question at One Raffles Link’s Pacific Coffee. That explains the simple Cityhall map heheheh.
Here’s to 5 years, 4 months, and counting... to forever.
“You can’t stop loving or wanting to love because when it’s right, it’s the best thing in the world. When you’re in a relationship and it’s good, even if nothing else in your life is right, you feel like your whole world is complete.”
Ps: 10 days in Brunei feels like a long time.

L.A. Girl Flare Birhgt Delight Nail Lacquer in Flushed
I got this from Metro at this 3 for $5 rack last weekend. What I like about L.A. Girl is that it dries pretty fast, though I'm not loving the brush. Got this color together with gold and brown. I'd say ditch the gold, unless you have really, really tanned skin/you plan to slap on 10 layers of lacquer.
Expelliarmus!
You need to go and watch Harry Potter now!

photodiary
Getting out of bed in the morning...
Made coffee and went online...
Blogged about doing an update...
Passed by school...
To the printing shop...
Taking the train...
Packed sandwiches for lunch which I never got to eat...
Walking down this path to the office...
With this DIY Chanel 2.55 (done by my dear boss) greeting me when I enter the office every day...
Researching...
On hmm... cupcakes? Heh.
And occasionally meeting up with girlfriends for dinner at cosy little cafes!
Yes, not much of a life. Oh dear.
Updating tonight with a photodiary!
I apologize for the lack of updates! Wake up, work, home, wake up, work, home... Will be lugging my camera around and doing a photo diary of today. Updating tonight!

My entry:
My dream destination: Enroute to the Big Apple!
With the eastern culture so heavily influenced by its western counterpart, there is no doubt why New York is THE city I would like to visit at least once in my lifetime. As the essence of the Big Apple flooded my mind this instance, Jay-Z’s “Empire State of Mind” was on surround sound. The Statue of Liberty, the Empire State, yellow cabs, the Yankees, Hip Hop, NBA, Sex and the City, Anna Wintour… they all made up the extravagance of New York City. A concrete jungle where dreams are made of indeed, stirring up the wanderlust in me!
Who I would like to bring: My big sister. Think Sex & the City girly dates!!
… and you’ll receive an e-voucher to redeem a trial pair of contact lenses. Plus you get to choose which range you’d like to have!
Once redeemed, you’ll qualify for Seeing the World!
After the first stage of judging, public voting will take place. Blog, tweet and even facebook about your Dream Trip will increase your chance of winning. Get your mum, dad, sister, brother, cousin… basically anyone to vote for you!
The top 10 entries will win a weekend trip to Bangkok, where you will communicate your experiences through your blog, Twitter and Facebook. The grand prizewinner wins their Dream Trip which includes:
• 2 economy class tickets to destination of choice
• 5 days accommodation
• 1 activity of choice (e.g. attend a concert, go scuba diving, bungee jumping)
Meaning you get to actually customize your own dream trip – from destination to activity to the travel buddy of your choice! Dream becomes reality = you can now die in peace. Hahaha.
Ps: Be as creative and fun as you like! Check out Seeing the World’s Facebook account here for more examples!

Where can I go from here
"You know you've read a good book when you turn the last page and feel a little as if you have lost a friend." - Paul Sweeney
I can totally relate to this quote, and it's sad that I haven't felt like that for a long time. In need of a really good book pronto.
New shoes yum!

Bigger man with the bigger heart
I had two hamsters when I was in secondary school and still dating my ex, so clearly I had them named after the both of us. It was during the time when our relationship soured, amusingly that had an impact on the hamsters. They started fighting too, literally. Haha. The rest is history. I think I'm getting myself a hamster again. This time I'll be a better owner.
Internship starts next Monday. Not working for a big company but I'm excited knowing what's in store for me. Project datelines during internship though, it's going to be a busy end of the year!
Armageddon
my dress & sandals cost $17 altogether.

Shoes we got for the boyfriend’s baby cousin’s first month!
We got lost at the start. Could’ve turned right from the hotel and reached the heritage attractions but I insisted on turning left. I even got angry because the boyfriend kept reasoning with me to walk the other direction. Hahaha. Well, I apologized to him after! Not forgetting to add that it’s good exercise. I know, me and my pride!
Whatever it is, it was time well-spent walking around, perspiring under the hot sun, shooting, trying chicken rice balls, shopping, ordering cheap but good room service for supper… and just being together. <3
