colors obsession II
I was invited to Mango's Spring/Summer 2011 presentation at Shaw Centre yesterday.
Crowd at the start of the event. Amount of people escalated in lightning speed and I thought I was going to suffocate. Just. Too. Crazy.
First thing we did when we entered the premise was to head over to the photobooth area. Yup, cam whores we are.
These tiny muffins (or cupcakes?) are soooo goooooood. Just don't eat the green-colored cream, it has a weird green tea taste.
Top: f21, pants: mphosis, shoes: taobao.com (<3 those shoes!), bag: calvin klein jeans, watch: g-shock, gifted bracelet: from bali, ring: ysl
Amongst the rather disorganized event frenzy.
This color combination reminds me of my Zara pouch. <3!
I was swooning over this skirt. But alas, this skirt is not meant for mere mortals (read: short) like me.
My guest (one of my longtime good girlfriends) and I. (:
Goodie bag that came with the catalogue, the shopper tote...
...and the bottle of candies that had alphabet letters (that spells Mango) on each of them.
I am a happy girl, considering the generous amount of colors in Mango's latest collection. I must confess that my obsession with this season's color palette is at its absolute high.
Off to harass Andy, who's been studying for hours now. I am his (self-proclaimed) stress reliever heheh.

As much as I'm enjoying my holiday and can't wait for the 3d/2n getaway with Andy, it's exactly one more month before he leaves me for Aussie. Time passes too darn fast and I feel like I'm still struggling to come to terms with coping without him for a year. Oh well... life.

Many thanks to James from La Mode Outre!
CKJ & underwear show
Dress code: denim/casual chic. Denim top: was my dad's, shorts, belt: mphosis, watch: michael kors
For a moment there I thought the models were going to walk out in Calvin Klein underwears and change into their outfits when I saw the clothing racks in the middle of the runway before the show. Disappointed I was when I realized that that was not the case, but I guess half naked boys sufficed. Hahaha.
all's well ends well
Gifted top: from bkk, gifted shorts, braided bracelets: from bali, belt: bershka, watch: kenneth cole, rings: gifted from m'sia, diva, shoes: charles & keith
Everything that I mentioned as gifted above are all from my mum, haha. I didn't realized that I was wearing an outfit filled with the gifts she bought when she went overseas, until a friend pointed out to me. She then goes on about how my mum apparently has good taste, which I beg to differ... a little. Mama has her hits and misses.
Counting down to next Tuesday and I will be free from dreadful school for three months! I want to travel but I need the moneeeeeey. Holiday job searching soon!
last lap.

Just one more week away from my final year project dateline and the holidays wheeeeeeeeee!!!
Not so 2000.
Advertorial
I was invited to the G2000 Spring 2011 fashion show at Marina Square on Friday, 1st April, as the brand's Style Ambassador.
Wearing G2000 everything, except for the bag (marc jacobs), shoes (taobao) and accessories (swarosvki, michael kors). Courtesy of G2000!
Besides enjoying the fashion show, canapés and lychee martinis (the classic lady’s drink!) were served and there was a Frolick booth serving, you guessed it, free yoghurt (for the win!).
I also had fun spotting guests in floral prints or pastel colors (the dress code!) and presenting them with $50 vouchers to shop at the boutique afterwards!
And the show begins!
(Some of the images provided by G2000.)
One year ago, I would never have stepped into G2000 unless I wanted to get myself some workwear. Until recently, I noticed a change in the artistic direction of the brand, while maintaining the brand’s aim of providing easy fashion essentials and trend driven collections for today’s working woman. I would call them utilitarian chic. Almost like Chloe or Celine, but at a much (times a hundred times) lower price.
The designs are not only appropriate from Mondays to Fridays, it's equally suitable for the weekends as well. With new styles (over 300 designs to choose from!) introduced to the stores every two weeks, I am definitely going to check out G2000 when their summer collection comes out in May!
Here’s a short preview of what will be coming up!
Crazy crowd shopping in the store after the show!
Very, very happy with our vouchers!
Ps: A big thank you to G2000 for the invitation!

With my good girlfriend and current gym buddy, and happy with our buys (more about it in the coming entry). Thanks to her I got 3 months free access to True Fitness, heheh.
Couldn't decide on what to have for dinner and we ended up going to Holland Village for some Lebanese cuisine. Very eeky service but good company made up for that!
Tomorrow... just another week of boring classes with a mountainous amount of work to be done.
