Happy 2009.

New year's eve was spent quietly at home with the loverboy. No parties, no nothing, just quality alone time to welcome 2009 in the arms of the boy I love.
Platform Lovin'.

From Clockwise:
1. Topshop Sharp Lace Up Shoe
2. Alexander McQueen Neon Flash Shoe Boots
3. Sergio Rossi Black Velvet Court Shoes
4. Christian Louboutin Astraqueen Shoe Boots
Platforms are like heaven-sent remedies for a girl who loves her high heels but walks like a clown in them. I don't wear them most of the time, but I am irrevocably in love with high heels, I have no idea why. I don't have a lot, I'm working on it now. :D

To the National Museum sometime back with zee boyfriend.
Christmas Day.

Christmas was spent at home with the people from the good side of my world. Theme was slumber lumber christmas and I got my robe from Cotton On at $15. It's a bath robe though, and I nearly died in my own perspiration.

Yesterday.
I really don't understand all the fuss over purchasing plain bandage skirts from online shops and retail shops like Topshop at such steep prices. I'm wearing a cotton tube top as a bandage skirt. No one noticed, and it's $5.
A bit on the slow side.

I am furiously coveting the Gucci Spring 2009 RTW Collection. I'm loving everything, from the sharp blazers and pants to the safari-themed suits to the flowy breezy dresses. The colors are so vivid and well-coordinated. This collection, without any doubt, stands out from the rest this season. I would definitely wear every single piece.
The narrow pants, which seem to come in all sorts of colors, appear to be in such a perfect cut. Now, if I have legs like that...

What I wore last Saturday, only without the fedora.
Christmas Shopping.
Went Christmas shopping just now. The crowd was crazy, almost suffocated in the midst of squeezing my way through Orchard Road. Bought a pair of yummy heels from Charles & Keith, again. They're getting better, I must say. Although I still hate how the brand logo stands out on the bags. Anyway, it's the wet season, the perfect excuse to pile up on layers of clothes in sunny Singapore. Right now, I'm lusting after the YSL Sweatshirt from the S/S 2008 collection - very simple, yet it exudes a dogged air of chicness.

Pair it with high-waisted denim jeans/black pants or the oh-so-popular lame leggings, and you're good to go.
I'm also loving all the punk rock fashion right now. All the studs, chains, zips, leather and metal.. I'm tempted to stick studs on everything I own.
Gucci Studded Boots on Paris Vogue's Geraldine Saglio

Isn't that pretty?

On my Christmas wishlist. Costs SGD60plus, still contemplating on whether I should get it.
Ps: Can't wait for Christmas Party on Wednesday. Theme's Slumber Lumber Christmas. :D
